This past Monday, a large majority of the Knesset plenum,
rejected the no-confidence proposal raised by the Likud due
to what the Likud called "the undermining of the rule of the
law in light of the intention to broaden the government." 63
Knesset members supported the government, 31 opposed and 6

Genetic Examinations Could Not Link Most of the Remains

On Monday, Health Minister Shlomo Benizri informed ten
families that the results of the intensive genetic
examinations conducted in a British laboratory revealed a
genetic link in only one case: between the remains of the
body of Leah Sharabi and the genetic matter of her apparent
mother, Chamama Sharabi, now 80, from whom blood was
taken.

U.S. Senate

On Tuesday, June 29, the Senate's morning session was opened
with a prayer by a visiting chaplain, Rabbi Shimshon Sherer,
whose late father, Agudas Yisroel of America's leader, Rabbi
Moshe Sherer, zt"l, was the subject of a number of
senatorial tributes that followed shortly afterward.
