American experts have managed to convert the atrocity into
energy: the energy given off at the time of the explosion in
the Twin Towers last September 11 was 2 percent of the energy
given off by the explosion at Hiroshima.
The terror attacks on America have resulted in a surfeit of
studies, summaries, economic and busies speculations, and
whole volumes of verbiage on social philosophies.
American physicians have calculated that the energy given off
by the Boeing 767 and 757 airplanes that crashed into the
World Trade Center was equivalent to 500 kilograms of TNT,
which is 25 times more than the energy given off by the most
powerful conventional bomb [in the world] today!
The experts claim that the amount of energy created by the
explosion was equivalent to about 1/25 of the energy given
off by the atom bomb dropped on Hiroshima, Japan, on the 6th
August 1945.
In a special article in the American press Stephen Bloch, a
biophysicist from Stanford University tries to explain how to
calculate the atrocity and convert it into energy terms.
He writes that you have to take the total weight of a Boeing
airplane, namely 145 tons, its gas containers filled with
63,000 liters of petrol, and flying at 850 k.p.h. "These are
the basic facts, based on which you can translate weight into
energy."
In order to give some idea of the figures involved, Bloch
says that the energy given off by such an explosion is
equivalent to at least 2 percent of the energy given off by
the bomb on Hiroshima, and probably closer to 4 percent.
The intensity of this lethal blast, which led to the total
collapse of the Towers also led to "earthquakes" equivalent
to 2.1-2.3 on the Richter scale!
